GURDASPUR: Self-styled Christian pastor Jashan Gill, accused of inappropriate conduct with a 22-year-old woman, has surrendered before police, SSP Aditya said Wednesday.
Gill was produced before a court & remanded in police custody for five days, the SSP said.
In the recent past, police had arrested Gill’s brother and sister from Jammu and Mohali, respectively, for allegedly sheltering him. The case against Gill was initially registered in July 2023. He was later declared a proclaimed offender by the court in Sept 2024 after he failed to appear in court, SSP Aditya added. TNN
