Uttar Pradesh has transformed over the last eight years: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak

NEW DELHI: Deputy chief minister Brajesh Pathak on Thursday asserted that Uttar Pradesh has undergone a remarkable transformation in the past eight years, with significant strides in infrastructure and development. Addressing an event in the Cantt Assembly constituency to mark the completion of the state government’s tenure, he emphasized that the Uttar Pradesh of today is progressing rapidly.
“Over the last eight years, the state has seen unprecedented growth. Roads, infrastructure, and development projects are visible on the ground, not just on paper as in previous governments. The entire state is one family, and together, we must make Uttar Pradesh the No. 1 state in the country,” Pathak said.
Highlighting the law and order situation, the Deputy CM asserted that the era of mafia rule has ended. The rule of gangsters and mafias has ended. Entrepreneurs are no longer afraid to invest in Uttar Pradesh. Lakhs of crores of rupees are flowing in from across the country and the world, he said.
Praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and defence minister Rajnath Singh for their contributions, Pathak remarked that under PM Modi’s visionary leadership and the guidance of CM Yogi Adityanath, the state has been setting new milestones every day.
Pathak also detailed the development work in the Cantt Assembly constituency, stating that significant projects, including road and sewer networks, have been completed. Unlike previous governments, where projects remained confined to files, today’s development is visible to the public, he claimed.
As part of the event, beneficiaries of various government schemes were honoured. Laptops were distributed to students under the Chief Minister Bal Seva Yojana, while eligible citizens received allocations under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), Ujjwala Yojana, Nagar Ration Card, and Ayushman Card schemes.
The program saw the presence of several dignitaries, including metropolitan president Anand Dwivedi and multiple councillors.
